“ I received 1 automated message telling me to call immediately to get the case #. I ignored it. I got a 2nd automated call a couple of hours later telling me to call the number back immediately. I did not call it. ”

“ was told they were from the IRS and they were suing me for defrauding the government ”

“ I had gotten similar calls from a 607 area code with the same message as the one I received just a few minutes ago from 712-281-9946. It was an automated voice...saying the IRS has issued a final demand, that I should call and get the case #, failure to do so would result in a warrant for an arrest. when I looked up the phone # it shows; New Cingular Wireless Pcs Llc - Il, Sioux City / IA.Line: Wireless. County: Woodbury. I don't know who these people are? Not sure how then can do this sort of thing? How can I get these calls to stop? I do see that now these same type of calls are coming now from another state (IA) & the first few calls were from NY.. ”

“ Returned a missed call from this number and a guy new my name and a previous address I had lived at over 10 years ago. When I told him I didn't live at that address he asked me where I lived. When I asked him why he wanted to know he got very defensive. ”
