Another of those calls, looking for you or someone in your family about a legal case or felony charges. In this case they were looking for my child and said they needed a recorded statement for a case. I said I might give them her number. She laughed and said okay. This was on my cell phone. Not 15 minutes later she calls my landline, acting as if we had never spoken. I let the machine get it and this time if was about criminal charges for my child, threatening that if my child or legal representative didn't contact her she would have no choice but to notify the authorities in our jurisdiction immediately. Well, as expected, it's been days and nothing has happened. They try to scare you into taking care of whatever legal problem it is over the phone with your credit card. Don't fall for it, people. In fact, if you have a whistle handy, I'd blow it right into the phone when this scammer calls
