“ Call with message they are the IRS and the IRS is filing a lawsuit. Why does CenturyLink not do something about these calls. I am on the National no-call list and sure enough, these calls get through. Why? ”

“ Just received the same call (saying this is the last call before IRS sues me). So I called back from a different number. They answered "IRS" and wanted to know my name. I gave a fake first name and they just hung up. Wonder what they are trying to scam. ”

“ received a call from this number around 1200 noon 10-15-2015 informing me to call back because IRS was filing a lawsuit against me.So i called back when i got home and confronted the operator with the fact that IRS NEVER calls.Instead they send a letter.Only to be informed that "this isn't the real IRS,call your local office THANK YOU" then she hung up.THEY ARE SCAMMERS and they got caught. ”

“ I also received a call from this number saying it was the IRS and this was my final notice before they sue me. I reported it on the IRS web site and to the treasury inspector general for tax administration. ”

“ I also just received an automated call that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me...the IRS does NOT call you so this is definitely a scam. If the IRS wanted to contact you they would do so in writing on official letterhead, etc. Hopefully someone can stop these people from calling and no one falls for this non-sense!! ”
