“ Update on this. The person who texted me from this number said her name was Tamara, and claimed she couldn't speak to me over the phone because she is hearing impaired and is having a a surgical procedure to correct it in Wyoming. She wanted to give her nephew a birthday present by paying for his recording time in my studio, claiming he and two friends are gospel musicians who want to do a ten hour session. I asked for an e-mail address so I wouldn't have to text so much, and she provided me with "tamaralopez475@yahoo.com". She said she couldn't use PayPal, or Square due to some circumstance that made her card inactive to these sources, so she would to pay me up-front using a Stripe Mobile Credit Card reader if I would set up an account to receive such payment. Once I told her I would not set up such an account the correspondence stopped. This smells like a huge scam to me. ”
