“ Number called today..didn't answer. I don't answer any calls that aren't in my contacts. Received a call similar to this one stating that I needed to get an attorney, they were from the IRS and that is I didn't return the call I would make my situation..very threatening.\r\n ”

“ I was told to have my attorney return the call in some kind of automated female voice. Said that if I did not, that the situation would get worse. Also said not to disregard this message. ”

“ Got a recorded message from (206)2049680 stating that I need to get in contact with them with my retained attorney because the situation has been worse, that if I don't contact them it will be worse situation coming to me. I tried calling them back several times but no answer. What is this threatening calls?? ”

“ Been calling three times a day for the last two days. I never answer out of state calls, especially California, Washington, New England, New York, New Jersey or Florida. Always scams. Feds and gov. always send letters unless its a group stumping for a candidate or polling. I ignore those as well. Bernie Sanders' campaign has a Nebraska number and have been making test calls the last few days out of Council Bluffs, Iowa. I'm sure Hillary and Trump will have them too. This is blatant abuse of communication lines. I'm sick of it. I don't answer anything unless I know who it is or they leave what sounds like a legitimate message. Most of them aren't. ”

“ They've called me 2x. I returned the call and spoke with a person with an india accent or what have you that told me, I was going to be arrested in 30 mins for owing and defrauding the irs $3513.29. His name he claims was Alex Anderson, he said his irs id tag/id number is IRM2307. He gave me a case number as well for me. When I asked what the statutes were on these as far as the numbers he told me he is not here to answer questions but only to inform me of my pending arrest and then hung up on me. the number is 206-204-9680.\r\n ”

“ I rec'd a voicemail from this number, it was a (fairly low quality) computer generated woman's voice, started in the middle of her sentence, it said " if you dont return the call back and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you good luck, this situation totally unfolds on you. Good Bye" I did not hear the first part of the statement because I didn't answer the call and the v/mail was only the last part. I have a few friends that have had similar things happen to them, about money owed to the IRS and other threats. I hope someone finally stops these jerks, they could confuse or scare someone that doesnt see through the scam. ”
